Baseball Programme
Every inning is an opportunity to grow.
About the programme
Youth Sports Collective brings baseball into a family-first California youth sports community based in Lake Forest. Our approach is built around growth, teamwork and character rather than a scoreboard alone. A sporting programme should give young people a place to build confidence while learning to be good teammates.
At Youth Sports Collective, we believe sports are about more than just winning. They are about growth, teamwork and building character that lasts a lifetime. Our mission is to create a fun, competitive and professional environment where every young athlete can thrive.
Athletic Director: Kyle Hardman
Kyle Hardman leads the Baseball programme. Contact the Collective or visit the team page for the published director contact information and the most recent programme details.
Our coaches are mentors who understand that true success is not just measured by points or trophies but by the lessons learned, friendships built and confidence gained along the way. We are shaping not just better athletes but better people. Every sport is an opportunity to learn how to support a teammate, meet a challenge and bring respect to the game.
Who it is for
Families looking for a positive, structured sports environment can contact the programme director to discuss eligibility. Age ranges, experience levels, team placement and available spaces have not been confirmed for this preview. Please check these details before making plans or completing an application.
For families, sport should be a place of connection rather than a source of uncertainty. We want parents and guardians to feel part of the Collective, with a direct route to the people leading each programme. The relationships around a young athlete matter. A supportive environment gives players room to practice, make mistakes and try again while learning to respect themselves and the people around them.
Skills and development
Baseball offers opportunities to explore throwing, catching, batting, fielding and communication. Specific sessions and programme formats should be confirmed directly with the director. Our shared philosophy remains positive coaching, enjoyment and respectful competition.
Development happens in everyday moments. Learning to listen, preparing for practice, responding to a setback and encouraging a teammate can be as meaningful as learning a sporting skill. A fun, competitive and professional environment makes space for both. Our goal is to help young athletes carry confidence and sportsmanship into their lives beyond the court or field.
