About Youth Sports Collective
California youth sports built around growth, teamwork and character.
Our mission
At Youth Sports Collective, we believe sports are about more than just winning. They are about growth, teamwork and building character that lasts a lifetime. Our mission is to create a fun, competitive and professional environment where every young athlete can thrive.
We put families first, fostering a community built on trust, respect and shared goals. Whether on the court or the field, we are dedicated to helping every player reach their full potential as athletes and as individuals. We focus on developing strong skills, confidence and sportsmanship through positive coaching and structured programmes that emphasise both excellence and enjoyment.
What we believe
Our coaches are mentors who understand that true success is not just measured by points or trophies but by the lessons learned, friendships built and confidence gained along the way. We are shaping not just better athletes but better people. Every sport is an opportunity to learn how to support a teammate, meet a challenge and bring respect to the game.
Development happens in everyday moments. Learning to listen, preparing for practice, responding to a setback and encouraging a teammate can be as meaningful as learning a sporting skill. A fun, competitive and professional environment makes space for both. Our goal is to help young athletes carry confidence and sportsmanship into their lives beyond the court or field.
Where we are
Founded in 2025, Youth Sports Collective is based in Lake Forest, California. We bring Basketball, Soccer, Baseball, Volleyball, Football and Softball together around one shared purpose: shaping not just better athletes but better people. Confirm each programme’s venues and season details before attending.
Who we are
The Collective is led by CEO and Co-Founder Sean Murphy, President and Co-Founder Pearse Flaws and Chief Business Officer and Co-Founder Kirk Francis. Pearse also serves as Basketball Athletic Director. Kyle Hardman leads Baseball and Softball. Bella Williams and Sophia Williams are Soccer Co-Athletic Directors.
For families, sport should be a place of connection rather than a source of uncertainty. We want parents and guardians to feel part of the Collective, with a direct route to the people leading each programme. The relationships around a young athlete matter. A supportive environment gives players room to practice, make mistakes and try again while learning to respect themselves and the people around them.
